Get Ready for the Meme Wars

A quick recap of the U.S. Democratic Party recent events.  Joe Biden drops out, probably a good idea.  Kamala Harris takes over as nominee.  And in the enemy camp the Vice Presidential pick is made and the campaign shifts towards attacking his policies on abortion and…

Making jokes about sex with couches.  I could join in and reuse old material like “Sofa, so good”, and references to the Ottoman Empire.  I get the frustration and the desire to strike back with a Two Can Play That Game attitude.  Historically through Qanon and conspiracy hoaxes the gematria crowd has been heavily aligned with right wing extremism, which I’m against.  And their quality of evidence has always been gibberish.  OK, for short term being the fun uncle at the children’s table on Thanksgiving Day.  But the time to have adult conversations is pretty much here now.  So hopefully it’s just a passing phase.

Use of gematria in any form, even just sports decoding, forfeits your rights to sit at the adult table.  We know you’re not going to provide anything but gibberish.  We’ve seen the gibberish for a decade now.  Maybe you’re old school and you’re doing the overused Q talking points from 2016.  Maybe you’re looking ahead to and creating a BlueAnon narrative

Gung ho democrats can be gullible, too.  Make up a new Antichrist number out of thin air with no historical reference point, throw in some anti Maga references.  And throw in some liberal “F**k Trump messages on Twixter.  You use gematria, so we know you don’t believe in real evidence.

Or maybe you just take a neutral wait and see path, no overt pro one side or the other, just weird:

Gotta give Dean some credit.  Most people when they post gibberish on the internet don’t actually post the word “blah” in their gematria decode.  Or blatantly repeat it to force the value to be the target number.  Count your lucky stars he’s not winding down the clock.  That would be I’M Winding Down the Clock.  And somewhere out there right now is somebody that wants to sit at the adult table that’s been influenced by a Qanon generated backlog of misinformation about various liberals being the Antichrist gibberish.

You don’t need to go all in and try to combat the cognitive biases immediately.  It would be fine to encourage your gematria user to state their case without the blah, blah, blah, blah.  Get them to a point where they can say something like this:

“Christian values are important to me, and I support xxxxxx since (s)he has done this and this and that and I don’t like xxxxx because (s)he has helped pass this law or blocked this legislation.”  Now wasn’t that easy?  Leaving the gematria and the memes out of it?  There’s also no overly aggressive scammer trying to get you to join their Patreon.

And if you were paying attention to yesterday’s material, flip flopping the names in your defensible political stance above would yield the same gematria.  More proof of the gibberish.

Memes are easy, so easy a child can do them.  Jokes about sofas are easy and childish.  Use your sofa for watching the Thanksgiving Day football game instead of more arguing about who said, F You the best earlier that month.
