My Christmas Present To Numerologists - The Richald Dean Anderson Elision

Christmas music is already playing on the radio. Hallmark Channel is showing nothing but Christmas movies, and has been since November 1st. I don't want them to miss out on the use of this. They'll need time to research the findings, report. And the inevitable regifting.

The Gematria is better than Flat Earth conspiracy debate is really heating up. No less than eight videos in the last two days specifically mentioning how Flat Earth theory is nonsense. Several with the side theme of defending the idea that numerology has too many elisions. The defense by psychological projection. There aren't too many elisions, because the Earth is a globe. As if those have anything to do with each other.

To their credit, the gematria crowd has produced two new elisions that make as much sense as the too many already pack they've been using. Simply reverse the alphabetical order of a pre-existing elision and now what was "a" is now "z". Without any historical record that anybody used this earlier than a couple of months ago.

My favorite is Chaldean. Because what's better than a reduction that uses just the numbers 1 through 9? A reduction that doesn't even use the 9. That's what Chaldean does. And with the 8 and nine only being used twice the average value of the entire alphabet is slightly less than 4 (103 /26).

The response to too many elisions? Make more elisions that "prove" connections. This will teach those flat Earthers a lesson. The beauty of the Richald Dean Anderson is it's lack of rules. They can build on this. Play around with the couple rules I present here. Make variations.

Why Mr. Anderson? Other than the misspelling of the name to work in CHALD-DEAN? Because he was MacGyver. He could make something out of nothing. Making something out of nothing being a core principal of gematria. Lack of rules previously established to build on is covered. We're well on the way.

What else do we know about the original Chaldean elision? It is a rather odd numerical order. Not consecutive from 1-8 like the others. It bounces around. Now you could have a reverse Chaldean. But that's only one more elision. Change the digits around in some other order, make the Stargate sub-elision. Go through his filmography. More subelisions. Reverse all those. Drop the 8's. Only work with 1-7.

And, get this, you'll get lots of MATCHES. MacGyver freaking loves matches! And changing the digits go with what letters is just like picking the best accessory on a Swiss Army Knife!

--------------------------------------

I fail to see how creating new numbering systems proves anything. Every new one they make strains the credibility a bit further. You'd go a lot further to getting credibility by denouncing the original Chaldean elision. It's way easier for me to PhraseShop contradictions when I have the ultimate reducing agent available.

Note that Dan's apufeemia is satisfied as Patty and Selma's favorite TV show is MacGyver. You can check him off your shopping list right away.
