There's a crime show (and for that matter a Lucy Liu movie) called Watching the Detectives. If you enjoy seeing an example of how not argue and why I recommend that you don't argue then look at the massive senseless off topic antagonism going on in the Free to Find Truth universe, now.
First we had gematria vs. flat earth which excluded all commentary regarding the gematria portion and focused on science. Or lack thereof. Then we had gematria versus religion. Now we have "who is the fraud/shill/fake account/lying Satanist/<insert insult of your choice here> dialogue.
Fun stuff.
Now let's look at an example that few people got to see. I was lucky enough to before the material vanished.
There was commentary on a video of Hubbard's yesterday that literally had no sound arguments. The audio portion of the video was missing. There's no sound. And not really an argument, but statements. And it's as close to a pun as I can muster now.
Lack of critical thinking abounds. Before the video with audio replacing it there were three types of comments about the audio.
At least a dozen, probably over twenty, "Dude, there's no sound.". This is understandable coming from the first few people. You're kindly pointing out that your viewing experience is ruined by not having sound. I can't read lips, either. But a dozen or more? The first thing that comes up when you click on Comments is other existing comments. Didn't you notice that it's already been mentioned? How many times does it take, 100 before he gets the idea that people aren't making this up? Another type of comment was the last I saw. One single person said, "I was going to tell you there's no sound, but I see that's been said 20 times." (That's where I got the 20 figure I quoted, I didn't count the actual number of no sound comments.) I hope this person was the first to indicate, "People. He knows. It's not like he's sitting at his computer and flip a switch and magically turn the sound button on for you."
The really painful variety.
"They muted the sound. They're out to suppress you."
Yeah. That makes all kinds of sense. Instead of deleting the video with their nearly infinite powers they are embarrassing by just turning off the sound. And the nearly infinitely powered beings didn't mute or delete any of the other videos. Or lock the video commentary section to further drive the point home.
Instantaneously, without any consideration for plausible alternatives you know the NIPTUCKS are out to get him. I can counter with an equally unprovable suggestion that the audio was deliberately omitted to play the martyr card.
There you go then. Hubbard provides the explanation. In his blog he has the screen shot of receiving another strike on the account. They ARE out to get him! Or maybe the video was in violation of YouTube's community guidelines like they said.
Let me tell you what I speculate. Notice: I'm clearly indicating this is my opinion and have no ultimate proof one way or the other.
Hubbard himself said that a video was locked to Private by Youtube. They've done that before. It looks like a new way of dealing with controversial matter. When a video gets flagged it is not immediately removed. They need time, even days, before getting around to it when there are a butt load of videos to deal with. During that time this video was uploaded with sound problems or part of the lag time while controversial material was reviewed maybe muted. (Unlikely). Not because they instantly decided that this particular video was chosen as a shining example for an embarrassing display of power. Unless that display of power is to see how many people whine about the lack of sound instead of waiting for a corrected version to be made available. If that's the case, it worked.
