The 1919 Black Sox Scandal

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Sox_Scandal

The “all sports are rigged” grifting crowd has a small problem to deal with.  Feel pity for them, because actual rigging of a sports championship is a lot of work.  An actual conspiracy requires secrecy and things go badly when it’s found out.

My quick research shows that boxing is super popular for rigging.  That makes all kinds of sense since it’s not a team sport.  You only need to give money to a single person to throw a fight.  Trying to get an entire team, or at least enough of a team on board with the program to make an impact is a huge problem.

So let’s dive in to real sports rigging vs. waiting until the game is over to report on the number 8 appearing.

The 1919 White Sox did not have what would be called a great clubhouse atmosphere.  The owner, Charles Comiskey, was notoriously stingy.  Money issues bring about the worst in people.  So the story is eight members got together and decided to go for a big payoff ($80,000 in 1919 would be just short of 1.5 million today). Throw into the mix a bit of - let’s get even with our deadbeat owner attitude.

Problem #1.  The team was united in dislike of Comiskey, but not all of them were willing to get involved in the rigging.  The secret must be kept from some.  If the money offered gets divided up too many ways it’s not worth it.  If one of the “Clean Sox” gets wind of it the party is over.  If, as actually happened with the utility infielder Fred McMullin, someone gets wind of it they can blackmail you for a share of the proceeds.  And the chosen but not all members involved in a team sport could conceivably not play bad enough to overcome the efforts of the honesty of the non conspirators on a heavily favored team.  The White Sox ace pitcher genuinely had the flu, and his absence may have had more impact than the conspirators.

Sports is rigged with gematria Problem #1 - too many moving parts.  If you’re new here, understand that this is not made up.  The same way that every single person ever can be deemed an evil adrenochrome harvesting pedo with gematria, effort is made to insist that every single sports player ever is in on rigging.  One of the go to arguments is the Manchurian Candidate.  Every one of them was born and bred to follow scripts once they start actually playing games.  Everyone of them is in on it.  Vegas is the evil empire and they make their money off all of the sports players throwing - every single game.  Apparently just for the joy and excitement of Vegas every player is willing to pick and choose times to coordinate the exact moment to miss that key shot at the buzzer or drop the easy pass on 4th down.  Without a personal payoff - the joy of rigging is what they live for as Vegas takes in a gazillion dollars.  The joy of performing a “ritual” to mock the sheeple of the world.  Every. Single. Player.  And the coaches.  And the training staff.  And the families.  And the hospital staff for their fake injuries.  And the pilots of the team flights.  Just the same as the dipshitmatic immunity of finding your personal gematria is something evil is ignored, you are supposed to ignore that it makes no sense that everybody in the world except you is in on the grand conspiracy.

Problem #2 - Ignoring problem #1, examine the payoff amount.  I wouldn’t sneeze at that, but if I was an honest sports player with a million dollar contract I’d think twice before getting involved.  And that leads to sports is rigged with gematria problem #2.  They sidestep this as mentioned above.  They care about money for their masters, but personally they appear to only care about the joy of rigging for the joy of rigging.  There’s no personal benefit.  They are slaves that never wise up to the fact that making ritual sacrifices to mock the sheeple is a waste of their talent.  Except when they hypocritically point out that so and so is compensated generously to play to throw games.  Now I don’t have an advanced degree in math, but I’m pretty sure that a typical game has one winner and one loser.  And the better teams who win more games generally have higher payrolls.  Some slaves are compensated better than others for their mocking ability.  The others should be pissed off.

And before I lose track and forget, in the real world the ruined reputations was part of the actual payoff.  Banned from baseball, enjoy your share of the $80,000.  Take up roofing or pool installation or something.

Problem #3 - My personal favorite about the story.  Getting caught by something that should have been considered.  Follow the money.  Vegas makes their money by encouraging equal amounts wagered on the opposing teams.  The sudden influx of money on the underdog Reds just before game one was a huge red flag that something funny was going on.

Sports is rigged with gematria problem #3 - I’m the best sports handicapper ever because I know the code and I’ve pulled millions out of Vegas!  No.  No you haven’t.  There’s never been a sudden influx of money from gematria based gambling that change the odds right before a game.  For a magic code that has existed for at least a decade, Vegas would certainly have blown the whistle by now.  Even if they’re operating as an evil empire they would still need to acknowledge the receipt of the bets and change the line.

The clip is often repeated in the SportsGematria recaps of Zach’s failures.  How much he’s hated by Vegas for his success.  No.  No he’s not.  They love him.  Draft Kings gets to put advertising on YouTube videos that cater to his stench of failure.  Once people hooked on gambling get a taste of gematria not working they are inclined to try anything else they think gives them an edge.  And they use more normal tactics like deposit bonuses and other special offers.

Zach never picks an NFL season champion on day 1 when the odds come out.  There’s never been a case of a team’s odds going way up from betting with gematria early on - showing something funny was going on by the huge influx of cash.  There’s never been a credible screen shot of him posting a multi hundred or multi thousand dollar betting slip on a team before they play.  After The Fact Zach waits, cautiously talking up the preseason favorites at the beginning.  Altering the narrative with the inevitable double coding as the season unfolds.  Miraculously claiming to support all the playoff teams as the regular season nears the conclusion.  Then declaring victory all along by lying about who he favored in the preseason.

There’s bound to be more sports gematria handicappers that appear in the near future.  The sports handicapping cons have been as old as the sports have existed.  There’s nothing new to his method other than combining lurid world events like war and bigotry into his marketing so directly.  Even if the so called grifting pie isn’t shrinking, there’s so much competition we get daily videos trying to convince us every game is rigged by people with the powers of a deity

Problem #4 - threats of violence.  That boxer that had a change of heart and didn’t want to go through with it.  That horse trainer that had second thoughts about doping the horse.  Maybe if I send you, or more realistically only threaten to send you a finger cut off from your grandmother you’ll stick to the plan.  Real conspiracies can and do lead to real violence.  There’s always been an undercurrent of violence in sports is rigged with gematria problem #4.

Zach is known to let his temper get to him and lash out with the “don’t fuck with me” attitude, also well documented at this point.  If his content was simply weird, everything would be fine and no more or less harmful than other handicappers.  Even without his direct suggestions of violence and his critics should commit suicide he always has some gung ho loyal lapdogs to put out content to show how dangerous he is.  It’s hard to say who is “in on it” and who is just LARPing.  That’s where the weakness of social media fits in.  Who is having a bad day after too much Xanax and who is making credible threats?  People do lots of stupid shit with money involved.  Or even without money, but a righteous cause mentality like Pizzagate.  The social media driven content of sports picking may seem innocent enough, but combined with the marketing designed to separate yourself from just another gambler has lead to a decade of baseless conspiracy content.

And there’s no doubt that sports gematria is intimately tied to gambling.  And your precious little babies are being exposed to lots of other bogus money making schemes along the way - that’s what grift magnetism does.  With a little twist at the end.  Long term devotees of sports gematria are few and far between.  Your not just looking at other money making schemes, you get a dose of some of the other dicier content - designed to keep you in an echo chamber of lacking anything resembling empathy, critical thinking or thoughts beyond a knee jerk emotional reaction.  Because the fake conspiracies are a form of psychological projection, a cover for the real conspiracy of the attempts to suck your time and money away with a collection called f bad ideas.

And all that is a long walk to say that actual sports rigging requires planning and an actual conspiracy, not just pointing out meaningless two and three digit numbers after the game is over.  Actual conspiracies require planning, not just waking up, looking at your smartphone and seeing something bad happened in the news.
