Before getting to dessert, the main course. An old standby that makes a bit of sense, so it has been repeated. Because there are only so many small numbers it gets to repetitive for the frequent gematria pros to find something different to say.
The dire wolf to K9 connection:
Dire = 4+9+18+5=36, 3+6=9
Wolf = 23+15+12+6=56, 5+6=11
Dire wolf therefore = 911
Canine = K9, K=11
Canine therefore = 119, or 911
A dire wolf is an extinct ancestor of the modern wolf, now relegated to Game of Thrones and Dungeons & Dragons in its retirement. Dogs are not pets, but pawns in the New World agenda, cleverly disguised by the convenient shorthand of "K9". The term was not created for ease of use or functionality of warning that the police vehicle has a big ass dog inside, probably a German Shepherd. Nope, created because in the grand scheme of things there were plans to destroy some buildings in 2001. And further evidence of Jenna Coleman being the Antichrist....Tom Baker's robot companion K9.
Not terribly overused, but somebody independently discovered this and Hubbard pointed to his old 2014 post about it. I agree that this is one of the cooler connections. Although I object to 11 being a "master number" which doesn't mean it's never reduced further, but can optionally be reduced to 1+1=2, making DIRE a different total. At least they went on record ahead of time with this years ago.
So with precious few cool stories the commenters search for old standby numbers and get really creative, without there being any real rules. 666 was there in Harry's engagement. They desperately wanted the Vegas shooter to be on the 33rd floor instead of the 32nd.
And they just will not leave Pi alone.
Saturn=42. Which is also Pi. 42=3x14. Pi=3.14
So this is the rule? Take the digits, perform any of the basic mathematical functions and disregard decimal places, optionally? Reduce numbers at random? Is that right? Is that your story?
Well pretty much anything can equal Pi this way. But let's assume eventually your appetite will be sated or your blood sugar so screwed up that you end your all you can eat Pi for dessert with some numbers that can reasonably be expected to show up in the same manner as 42. With a few more exotic offerings if you hit up a fancier restaurant.
17, 3+14
11, 14-3
21, 3/14=0.21
4 or 5, 14/3=4.666666667
227 = 22/7 is often used for pi, so
11 again 2+2+7
29, 22+7
15, 22-7
355/113 has been used
18, 3+5+5+1+1+3
27, 3+5+5+11+3 (master number!)
That's enough. You get the point of how the numerator and denominator can change. Just because it hasn't been quoted yet (that I've seen) doesn't change that rounded off 69/22 =3.14. And that's just the whole number fractions. If you are going to treat Pi in its proper geometric nature then non repeating decimals and irrational numbers should regard them.
Maybe somewhere somebody should start commenting on these Pi creations that it doesn't meet a criteria for a valid Pi reference. Although it's not like any criteria would really make sense. The madness started as soon as the first 227 references began, which were dire wolf/K9 like. Now as they continue to stretch the limits of credibility, like the dire wolf should become extinct.
