Qanon - Intellectual Round Tripping
The fraudulent activity that you’re not allowed to talk about is called round tripping. And you can pick lots of valid articles to read about it with an unbiased Google search. For example:
https://financialcrimeacademy.org/red-flags-in-round-tripping/
You’re not allowed to talk about it now because it’s awfully close to hitting home about what Trump was actually charged with. “Look at how awesome my businesses are! Sure I deserve a better insurance rating! Look at how poor I am! Sure I deserve to not pay taxes!”
Since being declared a terrorist for even insinuating that there’s something wrong about it, I won’t even mention Trump’s self contained bubble of fake economic double talk. Let’s make up a small scale example.
Your brother wants to get a loan to buy a house. And if his landscaping business looks healthy he can get a great rate, something necessary to make it work in this several generations of economic insanity that means ordinary kids today will never get a loan. He cuts your grass for free, but you both agree that you’re going to pay him a million dollars a week to cut your grass. On paper. In return, you pay him a million dollars a week to keep his records. You do bookkeeping work for the church, so that superficially looks good.
If the books are only superficially glanced at then the revenue on the income statement looks awesome. It’s just the questionable lack of cash on the balance sheet to support the revenue that’s a problem.
And this entire cult pyramid structure is an intellectual round trip. And Qanon and Qanon adjacent activity like sports gematria scams plays a bigger part than you may be willing to admit. Anything for a piece of that sweet online grifting bubble pie.
Regardless of which side the online grifter chooses to target the assets of emotionally supercharged unthinking drones are available. The broadest and not nuanced brush stroke I’m willing to paint is that pro right tends towards anything money related, particularly not paying taxes. Pro left is the resistance that points out the evils of the pro right, who cowardly crumble with a, “Well, there’s nothing I can do about it without you giving me more money.” And you have the moderates who play both sides of the fence.
Eventually, the conspiracies for the extremes build up. And extremism is a word that gets used more and more now. Going to school for a career that is labeled as independent is a tough wake up call when thrown into the real world. Your lawyers, accountants, economists, investment bankers, and landlords are told there is a code of ethics. On the surface the code is unbiased. That CPA isn’t just a certified accountant. That CPA is an INDEPENDENT auditor. Judging the books on the merit of the numbers alone. That landlord is following the edicts of the FAIR HOUSING ACT, not making decisions based on skin color. That lawyer will be disbarred if he doesn’t follow the rules. And if you want to be an ordinary and mostly moderate just trying to feed the kids, well, what are you supposed to do for advice when in practice the advisors are constantly covering up bad numbers because the government is constantly covering up bad numbers? You’re not simply allowed to be peacefully left alone. The online push for extremism to pick a side requires a lot of response to outside stimulus to finally pick a side.
The potential whistleblower has to deal with the Qanon intellectual round trip. There’s always that background noise of hOlY sHiT tHeSe MoThErFuCkErS aRe ViOlEnT aNd CrAzY. Maybe in public I should just go with the flow. Not call them out. Not even give the slightest hint that I’m anti Trump in even the most basic of circumstance like tariffs not actually working. I don’t want to be the guy that has the crazy man with the hammer trying to beat him to death. Let somebody else arbitrarily labeled as the terrorist liberal be that guy. An emotional currency traded on social media activity with no numbers or facts to support anything. Go up the food chain to Fox News. Hey, I don’t need to support the really weird shit like Pizzagate. But the coworkers are all talking about what they heard on Fox News. I’m not dumb enough to give the Pizzagate story any serious credibility. But maybe I can skate by with calling liberals libtards or woke DEI hires and I can fly under the radar.
And the more the cycle of unchallenged intellectual round tripping goes unchecked, the higher the chance that the belief in the extreme views becomes more ok. It started with, “But what about my investments?” and gets pushed towards, “Yeah, let ICE go ahead and throw my neighbor in jail. His skin is just the wrong color.” A self perpetuating intellectual bubble. Qanon for intellectual intimidation. FOX for Trump is good for the economy and your investments. And Trump as the guy willing to contradict himself on a daily basis and commute the sentences of criminals, lie about crowd sizes, and drop hints that he genuinely admires Hitler. The toxic narcissist is a great source for unfiltered and self contained intellectual round tripping.
Today, I SHOULD be going to the local No Kings rally. I’ve convinced myself and genuinely believe if somebody asked me to I would follow my moral compass and say yes. But even I am not immune to cognitive biases while being functionally aware of their impact far more than the average person. Instead of asking around to see if someone else is interested, I’ll probably just do what I do every weekend. By myself like every weekend. Because my personality IRL just screams out that I want nothing to do with Trump and the cycle of intellectual round tripping he and the other morbidly wealthy grifters have created. And I don’t want anyone who doesn’t want to risk the unfair arbitrary label placed on them to think the cRaZy QaNoN and MAGA crowd to instantly get the trolling attention.

Gematria Vs. Real Numbers - Motivated Numeracy
Maybe instead of continuing to complain about how not very bright and extremely gullible some people are, somebody out there needs an explanation based on actual scientific results and data. Something geared towards the person with an interest in a statistical analysis about the highly polarized lunacy that pervades our political discourse, how we are psychologically driven towards extreme partisanship. The above linked paper is for you. I will share a couple of graphs and some of the basics here. But I encourage you to sift through as much of the paper as your actual level of science and comprehension of statistics allows you.
I dare say that someone who is captivated by gematria will not bother to actually try to understand this. They are either fully aware of the psychological tricks and are being actively manipulative, or they are in the thrall of someone who is. Someone who has been training them to double down and remain closed minded. While what the research seeks to do is show that as soon as Liberal Democrats vs. Conservative Republican is thrown into the discourse bias takes over. Our brains shut down and cease to function in a rational manner.
For purposes of a non political issue to focus on a fictional experiment was outlined. Creams to treat rashes must be tested as you don’t want to end up using something that might actually make the rash worse. Even a neutral “didn’t do anything good or bad” resultant particularly desirable. The product should actually work and show in a statistically large enough sample size that it had a benefit.
Focusing on the top two charts for now, study subjects were asked to identify from the data the effect of the skin cream. Did use of the skin cream make the condition better or worse? Please read the paper for detail of the fallacies knowingly involved in making an assessment based on the simplified data. And instead focus on the politically supercharged gun control variation below. It’s essentially the same scenario as the skin cream, but with guns. Also note that randomly “better vs. worse” column headings and “increase in crime vs. decrease in crime “ headings were assigned.
What the hell is numeracy? It’s the ability of someone to get meaningful information from numbers. When the data was summarized, as predicted people higher in numeracy were more often able to correctly assess the data for the skin cream scenario. However, as soon as politics was thrown into the mix, not only did political polarization increase false assessments, it was worse for higher numeracy. The bottom right chart, the high numeracy conservatives think gun bans increase crime, the high numeracy liberals think guns reduce crime.
Your confirmation bias based on political belief is an off switch to even remotely trying to analyze a set of data points. As soon as more or less GUNS are mentioned, the brain goes on vacation. I’m sooooo smart. This is soooo easy.
If you are unlucky enough to get cornered in a fake debate with a gematria user, let them know about this study. Challenge them to read through it and get back to you when they can rationally and calmly explain that they understand it in a manner that demonstrates they actually do. Don’t let them waffle around with Whataboutism? as it has nothing to do with this. Kobe Bryant = 113 doesn’t have anything to do with skin cream or gun bans in this context. They will not have the slightest clue what this means. Science literacy has been attacked deliberately for decades so the masses do not understand these things.
My MLB Playoff Predictions.
In the future, at a quick glance it will appear that I made a correct prediction for every game in the wild card and division series rounds. That’s one of the big red flags right there something not legit was going on. That was 28 right and zero wrong. A record so unrealistic I doubt any would be gematria sports betting scammer would try to lay claim to. Something like 25-3 would be psychologically better. Close enough to perfection to be awesome without being a little bit weird. Like politics, it’s not about your record and character. You just have to give the illusion you are a better person than the competition. At least when you rely on fake news to pump up your own image when your talking points are complete BS.
Adding to the illusion:
On Bluesky, the age of the post shows in the upper right hand corner. That’s 10 months in the case of this gematria related top viewed post here. Plausibility is set up for the future. A quick fly by will show that all my picks were made in early and mid October. But it was simple using a scammer mindset to get that perfect record.
I just waited until the morning after the games were played, looked at my ESPN app and claimed victory. I even threw in some sports fan lingo to not make it sound too robotic and repetitive. The only thing missing was I didn’t take the time to insult anyone by putting in gematria numbers. My profile makes it clear that I’m not looking to run that kind of operation.
And that is one of the two main weapons of sports gematria schemes. Wait until the game is over. Focus on who won and produce a list of magical connections after the fact. It worked for Nostradamus, so why not update it for this day and age? A Nostradamus style prediction would be today claiming, “A lamb shall arise in the east and the winds will howl as the demon awakens from its slumber.” Then people years later will start filling in the blanks through their own biases. A gematria after the fact prediction just substitutes <QB name> = xxx, <All time record vs. opposing team> = xxx, <Final score> = xxx. And ignores the literal millions of things that make no sense at all.
This approach doesn’t work well for those that have structured their thinking logically. Claiming you’ve made a prediction when it’s clearly the morning after. Yeah, you are going to get called out on that.
If you’re not going to try that approach. Well, then you have to pick both teams before the game starts. Which runs into the same problem, the smarter people are going to pick up on that something is not legit. You are claiming to make predictions that are magical in nature, yet you never actually make a prediction. “The Broncos have the upset narrative with 46, but gosh the Eagles have a great record away in head to head match ups, so there’s that 17 narrative.”
Either system results in the same outcome. It’s what’s known as lying your ass off about your record when you put out new content in the future.
And that’s where gematria gambling content starts to get tricky when commandeered for propaganda purposes. The more outrageous the content = more views. Sports celebrities pass away all the time. Even that offensive tackle that only played two seasons has a name and number and a team name. Being disrespectful to their families and whatever legacy they’ve left behind is of no concern. It’s part of the rabbit hole, the pipeline that normalizes talking about death casually - whether it was natural causes or something spectacular when gematria gets used it’s turned into a supernatural forces of evil foretold their murder of this person because they love to mock the common folk. And you are that common folk. We know that because you are posting comments on YouTube videos indicating that you are actually basing wagers on someone reporting the results of yesterday’s game or who picked both teams to win.

Mister Education
The actual calculator is serviceable and does yield “correct” gematriot. If that can actually be considered a real thing. But the narrative and especially the quality of matches and how they are presented is lacking. There’s Phraseshoppping aplenty, and the picture- that’s 72. Because you drop zeroes and rearrange stuff all the time and that makes all kinds of sense. If you want to teach the next generations of fuck faces to build hydrogen fuel cell reactors in their basement, you’re going to need them to park their butt in school and pay attention to a fairly simple reality that 72 and 270 are different numbers. At least long enough to get a large enough crowd you can divvy out Attaboy!’s to that can influence the next election.

AI Slop Takes Up Gematria
There are a couple other channels out there that share the same format. Those are biblical gematria, and frankly not my cup of tea. Too legit. But this one, that’s got all the warning signs of low effort AI generated content. And it also looks like there’s at least a pause if not having been abandoned as not working out.
Looking through some of the stats we see some contradictions. Created in late June 2025. Over 4000 videos. 93 subscribers. Yet the oldest videos are from two weeks ago. Typically put out dozens of short videos in a single day, none of which comes close to approaching the 93 subscriber count. Some don’t even have any views. Basically, it’s a dead zone that hasn’t found its footing and nobody cares about.
The content does match the channel subscription, that being a genuine mix of real math (Fibonacci series, logic problems and math, infinity) and bullshit math (gematria, dream numbers). It’s going to need a serious boost of propaganda money generated astroturfing to take off though. Even a genuine talking point of confirmation bias clouding judgement in gematria isn’t getting any traction.
Gosh I hope I didn’t stay there too long and give that video its first view.
Rounding out the list of red flags we have thumbnails of pretty girls of which there are only four repeated over and over, and a robotic sounding AI voice doing the narration. You never see a human doing the narration. This is part of what makes me think that the reason the latest video was 4 days ago. There just isn’t a market. It’s not…obnoxious enough. Sure it was easy to set up and crank out thousands of videos in a short time, but without viewers, what’s the point. Nothing gets engagement like a loud mouth spouting rage bait that will give your comment a like even though it’s hateful and would cause you to get popped in the face if you said it at your local bar, gym, library or Wal-Mart.
AI stealing jobs is one of those tricky issues that adults in the room should be discussing. Back at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution it was cheaper to have a machine do labor intensive manual jobs. More and better machines, less humans to pay wages for.
We’ve reached a sort of “Holy Shit!” phase of late capitalism. Education and training that goes extinct far sooner than a career and retirement planning can support is shifted to, “How do I buy gas for my car and afford to feed my kids TODAY?”
If you weren’t on the gematria bandwagon a decade ago, it’s too bad. Not even low effort AI slop is going to resurrect a new age. At least until some new crazy and probably violent weirdo comes along.
