Taking to social media to announce your intelligence is an art form not elevated to its maximum capacity by huge swaths of people. In the early days of conspiracy theory related gematria it blossomed with the new recruits having found something alien to the “normies”. Instead of monopolizing the conversation at Friday Night Happy Hours at Joe’s Bar and The Grill Is Still Broken, you can throw out some fancy sounding schlock and get away with being as pretentious as you want. The mere mention of gematria was cool. It was hip. And even if you didn’t wow all the mates in the echo chamber you were at least due an Attaboy!TM from your cult leader.
That is, unless the plan is to become a cult leader of your own. You may need to acquire a niche, and learn even more how to sound like an intellectual harass. You may need to cultivate an entire alternate personality and stick with it. Now, we aren’t here, yet. No this one hasn’t yet flooded Bluesky with “interpretation of semantic gematria” lingo. But this is a great start. What that means (besides, “Look how smart I am!”), is something like, it’s not just that two words like DINGO = 86 and OOZING = 86, you have to dig in to the etymology and really analyze the connections. Translation - you need to learn to cherry pick and focus on the hits and ignore the gazillion misses.
But as much as I’ve pretentiously whined about this persona cultivation this isn’t really all about that. And actually it’s not even talking about analyzing instead of just fucking around and finding two immensely disparate words like dingo and oozing with matching gematria. After all, instead of analysis we have one number and one word. 187 and echo. No, gematria requires knowledge of words including their etymology and NUMBERS. And within the timeline this genius has linked a video of Neil DeGrasse Tyson discussing dividing by 0 and other smart person math stuff.
And has gotten two likes for his efforts. For proudly announcing 187 is prime when it’s not.
I was a young teenager when I learned the pattern recognition shortcut. A three digit number, if the middle digit is the sum of the two other digits it’s divisible by 11. 11x17=187. And for good measure let’s throw in that apparently ECHO doesn’t even equal 187.
Educating the youngsters of today for future leadership tomorrow. The resume booster. I told people on social media that 187 is a prime number and got two likes. Please give me the nuclear codes.
