Rapid Fire - The Documentary Part II

I was headed here anyway, but Goddammit what a kick in the ass the latest federally subsidized murder was.  People dying are still a hoax.  In case you think the Alex Jones inspired nitwits could ever take a break from the morbid stupidity and psychopathic focus on monetization of tragedy.

A quick refresher.  Jake Lo (Brandon Lee) goes through a heroes journey where he’s forced to be a pawn in a higher stakes fight between drug kingpins Antonio Serrano (Nick Mancuso) and Kinman Tau (Tzi Ma).  Both villains are over the top caricatures of the quintessential bad guy.  And along for the ride are the good but flawed cop Mace Ryan (Powers Boothe) and the corrupt federal agent Frank Stuart (Raymond Barry). (Stewart according to Wikipedia, Stuart according to Wikipedia.  I wonder what the gematria has to say about that.). And Stuart is the focus for today.

The shit has hit the fan and Stuart is about to hightail it out of town.  A vengeful Jake and eternally disgruntled Mace arrive just in time to intimidating him into flipping sides.  A turnabout because the intimidation tactics are what forced Jake to give up on his political apathy and get involved in the first place.  As it’s fiction you are perfectly allowed to forgive that Jake’s violence is justified and pure.  Stuart is a piece of shit and gets rewarded with an untimely death.  Instead of no accountability and just being able to escape to an island somewhere or wherever he intended to hole up.  With his dirty drug money.

Your life has been adversely affected by intimidation more than you will admit.  Things have accelerated fast.  So fast that the I can’t believe the leopards are eating my face content can’t keep up.  If you’ve ever gotten the sense that your annual salary review was affected because you were asked to do something questionable just to keep your job, you’ve been financially intimidated.  If you live in an area which was loaded with TRUMP election banners and signs and you felt uncomfortable, you’ve been intimidated.  Even the psychological pressure to overspend and Keep Up With the Joneses is a mild form of intimidation.

And it’s certainly not my fault that politically the far right extremism is front and center at this time.  All the really nasty, historically reprehensible shit going down is monetized for a reason.  In the battle of getting along with people just to survive vs. comply or die the intimidation machinery set in motion decades, generations ago.  To be competitive as a corporation for shareholder profit, you must exploit.  Everything must be deregulated.  Wages must be cut to the bare bones, layoffs must be done, salaried workers must be overworked, multiple jobs must be held.  And you also be better fucking ecstatic about it because now a bullet through the head is on the table.  I can hear in the back of my mind the million dollar investment portfolio crowd, “Another shooting?!?  Oh No My InVeStMeNtS!!”

Just to reiterate an official prediction here, my guess is the Olympics is going to be a financial disaster.  The bigger picture is showing the world moving away from dealing with Trump’s America.  Instead of intimidating the rest of the world into submission it’s a global middle figure.  Even getting past this regime there’s the lurking fear - these assholes are so clueless in another few years they could elect another clueless mentally ill asshole.  Best to trade with someone more stable, like North Korea.  And that’s if the U.S. has fair elections anymore.  The intimidation machinery is working overtime on the voter suppression, gerrymandering, and feeling of helplessness fear-mongering that set up the rural and uneducated Americans to punch over their weight class by giving them cultural bullshit to complain about while the leopards ate their faces.

And speaking of cultural bullshit, let’s answer the question, “What proof is there anyone was shot?”

Well, for starters there’s oodles of video evidence.  There’s the government response to try and spin it that it was Pretti’s fault.  Naturally.  And a corpse.  But the Alex Jones crowd doesn’t care about that.  Because they are part of the intimidation machine.  There’s another supremely intimidating incident known as January 6th that Jones leant his voice to.  A direct chain of events that even culminated in bitcoin donation to Jones legal defense because a broken legal system works great in the intimidation machine, just like it was the last push for Jake Lo.

Also, Hubbard’s own actions years ago show him to be at odds with his response to intimidation.  Despite some unkind Trump comments recently he’s gone into Agent Stuart mode.  A forward thinking plan, since he’s not stupid, to protect his investments and lay false claim to being anti-Trump forever.  He used to go out and visit Oklahoma bombing sites or the 9/11 memorial and mouth off.  All fun and games when your opposition is people lighting candles and laying wreaths at the dead’s memorial.  Not a problem when you’re met with police trained in non-violent crowd control.  A performance designed more to outstupid the other online grifters than be an effective protest over something claimed to be a hoax.  Now that the bullets are flying, has there been any righteous anger and narratives of organizing a visit to LA, Chicago, Minneapolis, Maine?  Of course not.  Just like the NRA, instead of following through with the spirit of the second amendment the time for crickets is here.  Time for Agent Stuart to pussy out and skip town.

The Oh No My InVeStMeNtS crowd that I deal with semi regularly have Agent Stuarted.  Before Jan 6th they were quick to show that they thought the GOP deregulation pattern was just fine and Trump was a good and just president.  Now they do things like post on Facebook about their ski vacations.  Surely, those leopards will not follow me home.  You do not owe these people any forgiveness unless there is a clear, “Holy shit, what have I done?!!” message coming from them.
