How Prophecy Scams Work YouTube Video
As of this morning the last Gematria Effect Sports video is three week old horse racing fake prediction nonsense. Our favorite doom and gloomer does have an Antichrist prediction yesterday. 1k views is a common audience size. Gematria Effect News is active daily, but the views on that are 5k per video being a good day.
Let’s see. 8 billion people, call it 2/3rds potential audience for these <sarcasm font> all important </sarcasm font> life altering messages = 5.28 billion. 5k views is a little less than 0.00001%. Maybe that’s enough to scrape out a little extra spending cash for a side hustle, but hardly a worthwhile career option.
And I attribute that to things liked the linked video and material here. You can only cry wolf so many times before you don’t get taken seriously. A purposeful bad analogy since the boy who cried wolf eventually did meet a real wolf and his bad attitude based on attention seeking ended poorly. There’s no horse race winner coming to rescue your finances. There’s no Antichrist yesterday signaling the end of the world “soon”.
1. Postdiction. Like waiting for the football game to end before making your gematria matches.
2. Prophetic performance.
3. Vagueness and ambiguity. Can you possibly get any more vague than direct antonyms having the same gematria value?
4. Retrospective Interpretation. Wait, weren’t there already a bunch of different Antichrists before Obama?!? So many different ones, it’s very confusing.
5. Declaring victory when wrong. I missed that <insert gematriot here> could have meant the Eagles instead of the Patriots. So I was really right about my rate specific prediction after all.
6. Open ended time lines. Don’t ever pick a date when you can say, “Any time now!” Or pick both teams.
7. Revise history. No. You haven’t picked the Super Bowl winner that often. You’re actual success rate on all picks is a well documented around 50% number.
8. Playing the odds. It’s amazing how often those preseason playoff picks align with teams the bookies pick to be dominant. Then the pick gets “legally” modified to align with actual playoff teams once the regular season is almost over.
9. Social pressure. Don’t ever admit you lost a money in front of the crowd you hang with. Just quietly slip away into the night.

Valuable Internet information has been around for a long time, but those that have emphasized NOT educating people have done an awfully good job of protecting the bad information that keeps them in power. Education became a hook to predict that you would invest money into a valuable skill that would sustain you throughout your life. Get a good job. Get married. Buy a house. Have kids. Retire. All predicted for you that are increasingly a pipe dream. The lack of real education has extended beyond just not educating. The people with the intellectual capacity to figure out what’s going on are separated into the categories of those with a conscience and ability to plan for the long term who should be attacked. Of those without empathy who have sold out to the dark side of exploitation of others just for the irrational belief that money equals intelligence.
